Inkproof Privacy Policy

The short version:

  • Inkproof has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
  • We (FreiLabs) do not collect, store or sell any personal information.
  • Your data stays on your device, or in your own private iCloud if you turn on sync.
  • The App Store privacy label for Inkproof is “Data Not Collected”.

1. Who we are

Inkproof (the “App”) is developed and published by FreiLabs (“we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App on macOS, iPadOS and iOS. If you have any questions, contact us at support@freilabs.com.

2. Where your data lives

  • On your device. Companies, clients, projects, dossiers, reports, attachments and settings are stored locally by the App.
  • In your private iCloud (optional, Pro). If you turn on iCloud sync, your data is stored in your own private iCloud database, managed by Apple and protected by your Apple Account. We have no access to it.
  • Files you export. PDFs, archives, backups and CSV or Markdown files go wherever you choose to save or share them.

3. Camera, Photos and screen capture

Inkproof uses the camera, your photo library and (on the Mac, with Pro) screen recording only when you ask it to capture evidence. Images are stored with your reports on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

4. Personal data in your reports

Reports can contain personal or health data from the systems you test. You are responsible for that content. Inkproof helps by masking common secrets and Brazilian tax IDs in PDFs and by letting you redact screenshots. Check every PDF before you share it.

5. Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details; the App only checks with Apple whether Inkproof Pro is active on your account.

6. Your rights

Because we don't process personal data, we hold nothing about you to access, correct or delete. Your data is under your control on your device and in your iCloud, and deleting the App or its iCloud data removes it.

7. Children

Inkproof is a professional tool and isn't directed at children.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
